Our Business Unit Middle East Africa is responsible for sales and marketing of our brands in that region. We believe that strong local partnerships are key to build long term sustainable brands. Achieving this is a joint effort of our sales and marketing colleagues operating worldwide.
To further strengthen our MEA (Middle East & Africa) sales team we are looking for a Sales Manager. As Sales Manager you are responsible for generating sales through developing and maintaining strong relationships with our local partners. Our MEA sales team has built a firm foundation of distribution partners and a strong position of our brands (Smalt, 8.6, Hollandia) in the market. Business development, brand management, investments and (data) analytics are important aspects in this role. Within your region you act as entrepreneur to build business and brands in a sustainable way.
What are you going to do?
As Sales Manager you lead the sales for several countries in Western Africa. You strengthen local partnerships, build our brands and look for new business opportunities and routes to market.
Together with our Marketeers and strategic partners you deploy the value management and brand marketing programs.
Furthermore, you coach our partners and develop, negotiate & align with our current and future partners the plans for the respective countries.
This is you
You have a commercial Bachelor or, ideally, a Master degree, combined with 5-7 years of experience in an international sales role. This position can be a great starting point for an international sales career within our organization.
Commercial experience in the region and in the FMCG market are a big plus.
Furthermore, you are a proven relationship builder with a track record in value growth through brands.
You are fluent in French, Arabic and English. An additional African language is a plus.
You are flexible in the place where you work and willing to travel within the region.
