What you will do as Commercial & Operational Coordinator?
IMCD represents a wide range of principals and brings their products to market. The International Principal Manager (IPM) serves as the central point of contact for these principals, ensuring commercial performance and fostering strong, results‑driven collaboration.
As aPrincipal Coordinator, you play a key role in this success. You work closely with the IPM and are involved in maintaining principal relationships while streamlining internal processes. This multifaceted position brings together commercial insight, relationship management and operational support. You help create performance visibility, analyze inventory levels and prepare reliable forecasts. In this role, you are truly an essential link between IMCD and its principals.
Your responsibilities:
- Reporting and analyzing sales, margin and inventory data to support business reviews.
- Developing forecasts in collaboration with IMCD offices worldwide.
- Identifying bottlenecks in supply reliability, inventory management or purchasing patterns, and contributing to improvement initiatives.
- Coordinating principal information (pricing, product data) and ensuring accurate documentation in internal systems.
- Actively contributing to process improvements in reporting, forecasting and principal as well as customer satisfaction.
- Preparing strategic meetings and principal visits, including presentations and reports.
- Acting as a liaison between internal departments, order management, sales, procurement, logistics and finance, to ensure seamless process flow.
- Supporting the onboarding of new principals.
Your profile:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree level of work and thinking.
- Commercial experience is preferred.
- Experience with BI tools, Excel and ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards) is an advantage.
- Excellent command of English is required; proficiency in Dutch is preferred.
- A valid EU work permit is required.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proactive, accurate and a real team player.
- Affinity with the chemical industry is a plus.
