In this role, you will shape strategy, drive operational excellence, and act as our internal expert on health,
employability, and absenteeism — helping our people thrive while supporting business performance.
Your Impact
As Manager Health & Employability, you will:
Shape Strategy & Culture
- Develop and implement the Health & Employability (E&H) vision and strategy aligned with company and HR objectives.
- Own and manage annual budgets.
- Build a strong culture of vitality, wellbeing, and sustainable employability.
Drive Operational Excellence
- Lead employability and sick-leave policies and processes end-to-end.
- Embed sustainable employability into core HR processes such as onboarding, performance cycles, and learning.
- Maximize financial benefits through subsidies, refunds, and insurance recoveries.
- Develop and manage partnerships with occupational health services and external providers.
- Continuously identify and implement new initiatives to improve employee health and employability.
- Contribute to Great Place to Work initiatives and culture.
Ensure Compliance & Risk Management
- Guarantee compliance with legal requirements in Health & Employability.
- Act as key liaison with government bodies, external partners, HR, and internal stakeholders.
Be Our Subject Matter Expert
- Serve as the go-to expert for Health & Employability across HR and the EMEA business.
- Coach and advise HR and leaders on E&H topics.
- Analyze sickness and employability data and translate insights into actionable advice.
- Act as case manager for sickness leave.
- Stay ahead of legislation, trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Lead Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build commitment for E&H strategies and programs.
- Develop communication plans to ensure awareness and adoption.
- Partner closely with internal teams and external advisors.
- Lead and coordinate Health & Safety and Employability projects.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or similar.
- 5–10 years of HR experience in an international environment.
- Strong knowledge of sustainable employability, health, and sickness-leave legislation.
- Fluency in English and Dutch
- Experience with MS Office, HRIS, and illness management systems.
- A proactive, strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
