Your opportunity
At IMCD, the Group Tax team is at the centre of our headquarters in Rotterdam, supporting global operations and driving value through proactive tax advisory and project execution.
As our new Tax Manager, you will join a team of five tax professionals and play a pivotal role in steering IMCD’s tax strategy, compliance, and innovation. From hands-on operational tasks to strategic project work, you will contribute directly to IMCD’s global success.
What you’ll do
â—Ź Manage day-to-day tax affairs of IMCD subsidiaries such as analyzing new tax legislation, communication with external tax consultants, managing tax audits and inquiries, and supporting tax compliance obligations.
â—Ź Drive and cooperate in a wide variety of projects, such as::
â—‹ Digitization of internal tax reporting.
○ Implementation of (international) compliance regulations in IMCD’s tax control framework.
â—‹ Mergers & acquisitions, acquisition structuring and integrations.
â—Ź Provide high-quality (inter)national tax advice and support to the business.
â—Ź Design, implement, and maintain transfer pricing policies and documentation.
â—Ź Collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, and IT.
â—Ź Review fiscal consolidations and calculate current and deferred tax positions.
â—Ź Communicate with tax authorities and support tax controversy matters.
What you bring
● Master’s degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics.
● 6–9 years of relevant experience, ideally in corporate tax and/or transfer pricing.
â—Ź Broad knowledge of corporate tax matters; familiarity with tax accounting and reporting is a plus (or willingness to develop in this area).
â—Ź Proven ability to take ownership and proactively drive tax-related projects.
â—Ź Strong numerical and analytical skills; affinity with Excel.
â—Ź Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
â—Ź A pragmatic mindset: able to balance hands-on work with strategic thinking.
