As Category Marketing Manager Encaps Industry, you drive the full E2E category performance of Encaps within OpCo Industry & Trading. You are responsible for maximizing profit while reducing complexity across the portfolio. You build and own the 12-quarter plan, covering innovation (NPD), productivity and value creation initiatives (P+), ensuring a balanced pipeline that supports both short- and long-term growth.
You analyze overall category performance and translate quantitative and qualitative data into clear strategic priorities. In close collaboration with Commercial, Channel Marketing and customer-centric teams, you conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and margin improvement potential. You develop clear value propositions and compelling business cases aligned with customer needs and internal capabilities.
You lead key cross-functional projects, working with R&D, Supply Chain Make & Planning, Commercialization and QA/RA to deliver innovation, renovation and design-to-value initiatives on time and in full. From product and packaging brief to launch planning and customer funnel management, you ensure seamless execution together with Sales and Key Account teams.
Portfolio simplification is a key pillar of your mandate. You identify opportunities for SKU reduction and efficiency improvements, balancing customer value with operational complexity. You actively drive cost reduction initiatives while safeguarding product quality and customer satisfaction.
You represent Encaps externally by visiting key accounts, supporting customer-centric teams and participating in industry fairs and distributor days. Internally, you are a sparring partner for the FCP OpCo I&T Commercial Director and a connecting force across disciplines. Your impact is tangible: stronger margins, clearer portfolio focus and a competitive category positioned for sustainable growth.
