As Lead Counsel, you are responsible for managing legal risks and the E&C program, and supporting management of your assigned international Business Unit(s). The role reports to the Director Legal and E&C.

What you’ll do
Provide high‑quality, pragmatic legal and E&C support to your assigned international Business Unit(s) to manage risks and protect the company’s reputation.
Enable the business to handle routine matters independently through smart guidance, templates, digital tools and self‑service solutions.
Manage outside counsel to ensure efficient, cost‑effective legal support.
Drive continuous improvement by contributing to the development and implementation of legal and E&C policies, procedures, templates and systems.
Deliver impactful legal and E&C training, conduct risk assessments and support internal investigations when needed.
You may also contribute to M&A projects.
Who we’re looking for
A law degree with at least 7 years of experience in an international business environment.
Strong knowledge of contract, competition and basic corporate law; familiarity with food law is considered a plus.
Strong experience in drafting (international) agreements; experience in M&A and delivering training are assets.
An excellent communicator able to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Pragmatic, independent within clear frameworks, results‑driven and experienced in using legal technology, including CLM systems.
Affinity with E&C and motivation to grow in this area; experience in M&A or training delivery is an asset.
Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
