Supplier Quality Auditor

As our Supplier Quality Auditor, you will directly contribute to and add value to the quality and food safety of the beverages we manufacture worldwide. The unique aspect of this role is the opportunity to work with a full spectrum of international internal and external stakeholders in the food and beverage industry, in a cross-cultural environment, while gaining exposure to all product categories and contributing to our growth agenda.
You will report to our Group Quality Director, who leads a talented and dedicated international team. Additionally, this role has a dotted line to our European Procurement Director. We are looking for someone who combines technical rigor, influence, and collaboration. What does the role entail?
By conducting audits to ensure suppliers meet strict regulatory, food safety and quality standards, and monitoring their quality performance, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity and compliance of our supply chain.
- Develop, maintain, and execute a risk-based supplier audit program, including audit planning, scheduling, and frequency determination.
- Conduct technical supplier audits to verify compliance with internal requirements, regulations, and applicable standards.
- Evaluate, qualify, and approve new suppliers and supply locations.
- Manage, track, and verify supplier corrective action plans resulting from audits and technical visits, including escalation when needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Business Units, supplier Quality teams, and SME’s to support audits, supplier qualification, and quality initiatives.
- Monitor supplier performance by consolidating complaints, identifying deviations, and coordinating issue resolution with Procurement and Quality leadership.
- Prepare, analyze, and present supplier quality metrics, audit results, non-conformities, and performance reports to stakeholders and management
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve supplier audit documentation, standards, tools, systems, and records.
Who are you?
We are looking for a proactive, detail-driven quality matchmaker with a passion for quality with the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Food Science, Food technology or other relevant qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier quality management or a related role.
- Proven track record in conducting supplier audits and managing quality & food safety systems (ISO, HACCP, IFS, BRC, SQF and beverages/juices industry-specific regulations and standards)
- Technical expertise:advanced knowledge of technical processes, materials control, and manufacturing processes is needed for proper risk-based management.
- Proficient in MS Office, digitally fluent, Power BI knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication and writing skills
- Strong stakeholder management, organizational sensitivity and enjoy working with various stakeholders – not shy to have good, effective and sometimes tough conversations.
- Proactive, self-motivated, results-driven and collaborative approach. With high integrity and customer-focused mindset
- Able and willing to frequently travel to suppliers (50 to 60% travel requirements, mainly but not exclusively in European countries)
- Proficient in English, a second language is a plus
