Lead SAP Manufacturing & Quality at Refresco

To strengthen our Central IT organisation, we are looking for a Team Lead SAP Manufacturing & Quality Management. In this role, you will lead a team of Application Consultants and play a key part in ensuring stability, quality and continuous improvement of our SAP-based Manufacturing and Quality landscape.
Your role
As Team Lead SAP Manufacturing & QM, you combine people leadership with strong functional expertise. You are responsible for the performance and development of your team, while also acting as the key interface between business, IT and external partners.
Together with your team, you ensure stable operations, high-quality delivery and alignment with business needs across Manufacturing and Quality processes.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you will:
Stakeholder management
- Act as the primary IT contact for business stakeholders within Manufacturing and Quality
- Ensure alignment on priorities, expectations and delivery
- Step in as an Application Consultant when required to ensure continuity
People management
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Application Consultants
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Support individual growth and future readiness of the team
Incident & operations
- Oversee incident management and ensure timely resolution
- Support escalations where needed to maintain business satisfaction
- Ensure effective collaboration with L2/L3 support and external partners
Changes & improvements
- Challenge and refine business requirements
- Drive solutions using standard SAP functionality and best practices
- Own functional specifications, impact assessments and testing approach
- Coordinate testing, validate UAT and ensure proper handover to support
- Follow changes end-to-end until successful business confirmation
Project contribution
Contribute to projects in various roles such as:
- Functional Consultant
- Test Coordinator
- PMO contributor
- Steering Committee member
- Go-live and hypercare support
What do you bring?
You are a hands-on SAP professional with leadership experience and a strong understanding of Manufacturing and Quality processes.
Your background includes:
- A relevant academic degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in team leadership or functional ownership
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Manufacturing & QM (e.g. PP, PP-PI, PM, QM)
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Solid understanding of IT service delivery (ITIL)
- At least 5 years of experience in application consulting or similar roles
- Basic knowledge of ABAP/debugging is a plus
You also bring:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to operate in a complex, international environment
- A proactive, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluency in English (additional European languages are a plus)
