Our European IT team, based in The Netherlands as well as in Germany, is lead by our IT Director Europe and is driving a strategy of enabling and innovating our business. We are an international and entrepreneurial team of over 40 members managing the exponential growth of our company. The IT team works in close collaboration with the local IT teams in the Business Units of Europe. All team members contribute to driving the strategic decisions in the areas of Core Applications, Networking, Infrastructure, Data Management, Security, Portfolio & Project management.
Subject Matter Expert Warehousing Applications (SAP EWM)
As the Subject Matter Expert you act as an internal consultant, who has full ownership of the application. We are looking for someone who can design, implement, and roll out optimal IT solutions whilst you are able to engage on supporting the business needs pro actively for internal logistics of finished products, ingredients, and packaging materials. As the expert for Warehousing, you are able to maintain a comprehensive, and up to date SAP EWM landscape, by identifying opportunities for improvement. You are responsible for incidents, changes and projects related to your application in the productive as well as test environment. The total team of Core Applications is a diverse and international team of seasoned professionals who aim to elevate the performance by continuously training themselves on novelties, functional updates as well as business trends. Within Refresco no day is the same. You will be exposed to different levels of seniority, different functions, all the Business Units of Refresco as well as to our external co-sourcing party. You foster a strong morale and team spirit with a problem solving and hands on mindset. We expect you to act and operate in an agile way and to establish a strong internal network.
You can solve incidents
• with an offshore L2 and L3 team (6-7 FTE's) that you will coordinate by monitoring their performance and taking corrective actions ensuring SLA compliance;
• using problem management tools to reduce repetitive incidents by proposing system or process improvements;
• personally, in the case of very complex or very high impact incidents;
• by organizing and participating in escalation calls to ensure business satisfaction.
You can drive system changes & improvements
• through analyzing business requirements, offering SAP solutions or suggestions to reuse existing features when possible;
• by writing functional specification documents, including impact analysis, test instructions and permission concept;
• by performing system configuration (SPRO), either delegated externally or done by yourself;
• by collaborating with the development team on technical specifications;
• by conducting a unit test when changes are ready;
• by following up on the documentation of process flows, procedure manuals etc after every change - done by the business process owners;
• by transferring relevant knowledge and updates to the L2 team before the change goes to production;
• by validating the test results from the UAT conducted by the business units;
• by ending a change cycle only after all required steps are confirmed positively by the business.

About you
• You have a University degree in Computer Science, Information systems, Business, or other fields related to the role, or equivalent experience;
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience as SAP EWM or WM consultant;
• You have a strong understanding of internal logistics
• You have had exposure to SAP PP/PI, SAP MM and SAP SD and preferably to automatic warehouses / MFS;
• You need to be fluent in English and an extra European language is a nice to have;
• You do have hands-on experience in SAP customizing, configuration, and SAP S/4HANA;
• You can demonstrate solid communication, negotiation, and presentation skills;
• You are strong at maintaining relationships with internal & external people;
• Knowledge of FMCG, ITIL are very welcome;
• Additionally: do understand ABAP and have an ability to debug code? Do you know about IDOC processing? One or both would be great!
