Join us asa Technology SolutionsIntern at our international headquarters inUtrecht, starting in September 2026.Atthe heart of our mission is a commitment to sustainability and nutritional excellence.In this internship, you will perform your own research project related to new ingredients, coffee and process technologies andassistin general activities of the team (organizing tastings, supporting pilot plant trials and data analysis).By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to pioneer solutions that align with these coreobjectives. Your innovative contributions willhelp uscreate a more sustainableand healthyfuture.

Your key activities will be:

Experimentation & Optimization:Optimizeexisting Coffee & Ingredient processing methods by leading and conductinglab or pilot plant experiments.

Technology Implementation:Support the implementation ofnew technologiesand equipment in the pilot line.

Data Analysis:Analyse data toidentifytrends and propose innovative solutions.

Knowledge Capture:Contribute knowledge sharing by the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Best Practices for process technology improvement.

Here'swhatwe'relooking for:

Academic Program:You are enrolled in abachelor ormaster's program for the entirety of the internship, preferably in Food Science,Food Technology,Chemical EngineeringorChemistry.

Skillset:Youpossessstrong MS Office skills and fluentproficiencyin speaking and written English – Having some similar hands-on experience with food research activities is always a benefit.

Personal traits:You have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

Commitment:You are ready to dedicate at least 5 months to this internship, preferably fromSeptember 2026toFebruary 2027

Availability:You can join the internship for 5 days per week, includingfourdays in-office and one day remotely, ensuring an ideal balance between collaboration and independence.

As we hope to have piqued your interest, please ensure you also meet the eligibility criteria and academic requirements:

Your internship should be included in your study curriculum and directly contribute to your academic results.

Your educational institution is willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JDE Peet's and when joining our Research departments, also sign an NDA agreement for internships.

You are either an EU(EEA) studentresidingin the Netherlands during the internship or a Non-EU(EEA) studentenrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship.
