At Refresco, you contribute to billions of liters of beverages that find their way to tables around the world every day. As a Treasury Officer, you will be part of the Global Treasury and Insurance team based in our office in Rotterdam. Reporting to the Treasury & Insurance Director and being part of a lean team with great team spirit, you will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of treasury and get involved in transformational projects. You play a valuable role in the success of the treasury agenda. You ensure structure, accuracy, and strong control in a fast paced environment where no day is the same.
What will you do?
In this role, you support the day to day treasury operations for multiple entities and work closely with the Treasurer and various internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities include:
• Monitoring daily cash and liquidity positions and managing cash pool balances
• Coordinating KYC documentation with international banks
• Collecting, preparing, and maintaining corporate and banking documents (UBO files, organisational charts, account opening forms, resolutions, etc.)
• Supporting cash pool reporting and onboarding of new entities
• Maintaining accurate bank account signatory records
• Managing e banking user access, roles, tokens, and approval workflows
• Supporting periodic access reviews, as well as internal and external audits
• Supporting FX and commodity settlements and related reconciliations
• Monitoring and analysing bank fees and contributing to cost transparency initiatives through TMS and BI tools
• Driving process improvements and automation using our new Treasury Management System or BI tools
• Supporting month end treasury reporting and reconciliations, as well as audit requests
• Providing ad hoc operational and analytical support to the Treasurer
Who are you?
You are analytical, structured, and eager to develop yourself within a dynamic and international setting. You recognise yourself in the following:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in treasury, finance, accounting, banking, or operations
• Experience in cash management, KYC processes, payments, or banking administration is preferred
• Experience with Treasury Management Systems is considered a plus
• Tech savvy. Strong Excel skills, and Power BI experience is a major advantage
• You work accurately, think in a structured way, and have strong analytical capabilities
• You enjoy working in an international, multicultural environment and have a proactive, energetic mindset with a drive to grow and improve
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English — and, importantly, you’re fun to work with!
