At Corbion, we exist to champion preservation in all its forms, preserving food and food production, health, and our planet.
Position Overview
Are you a curious, proactive problem-solver who enjoys turning data into actionable insights? Join our Supply Chain Analytics team and help drive our transition to a modern, self-service analytics environment. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you’ll spend about half your time maintaining and improving our automated dashboards and supporting users, and the other half developing new Power BI reports and analytics assets within Microsoft Fabric. We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, and ready to grow in a fast-evolving data landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support & Reporting (50%)
- Maintain and enhance existing Power BI and Excel dashboards and models (DAX, Power Query/M, Python), ensuring data freshness, accuracy, and business relevance.
- Support users across the supply chain (planning, logistics, procurement, commercial) by investigating anomalies, performing root-cause analyses, and translating findings into clear recommendations.
- Interpret and communicate insights from dashboards and reports, helping stakeholders understand and act on the data.
- Train and support colleagues in using dashboards and data models; act as a go-to person for questions and troubleshooting.
- Guard data definitions and consistency; reconcile numbers across sources and keep documentation up to date.
- Contribute to a culture of self-service analytics, empowering users to access and explore data independently.
Data Development & Exploration (50%)
- Partner with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into user requirements specifications.
- Build new Power BI reports and semantic models (DAX measures, calculation groups), designing intuitive visuals and interactions.
- Develop and evolve robust Power Query transformations; contribute to data quality checks and refresh pipelines within Microsoft Fabric.
- Prototype analyses and notebooks in Python when beneficial (e.g., scenario analysis, data wrangling, performance checks).
Qualifications
Required Skills & Behaviors
- You bring at least 2–3 years of relevant experience, allowing you to apply these skills effectively in a dynamic supply chain environment.
- Curiosity and continuous learning: You actively explore new technologies and supply chain trends to improve solutions.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking: You break down complex challenges and build data-driven solutions.
- Attention to detail: You ensure accuracy and consistency in data models, reports, and dashboards.
- Business-oriented mindset: You understand how data supports supply chain performance and focus on outcomes that drive impact.
- Clear and effective communication: You explain technical concepts simply to non-technical colleagues and document solutions for broader use.
- Empathic, collaborative, and influential: You work well across teams (IT, planning, logistics, procurement, product management, sales) and help align everyone around shared goals and data definitions.
- Proactive ownership: You take initiative to identify problems, propose solutions, and follow through without waiting for direction.
- Affinity with programming/data: You enjoy working with data and are comfortable learning new tools and techniques.
Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric ecosystem: Power BI, Data Factory, OneLake.
- Knowledge of data modeling (DAX, Power Query/M, SQL, Python or Spark for notebooks).
- Understanding of supply chain functions (planning, procurement, logistics, inventory, etc.).
- Familiarity with ERP and supply chain systems (SAP, OMP, Kinaxis, etc.).
- Knowledge of Azure Synapse, Microsoft Purview, or other data governance tools.
