For the role of Business Unit Director Baking Enzymes in Nieuwkuijk (formerly Breatec), we are looking for a strategic commercial leader to guide the baking enzymes business through its next phase of expansion. In this position you prioritize market segments, define and communicate clear “where-to-play” and “how-to-win” strategies, develop deep innovation relationships with key accounts, and lead the development and execution of robust go-to-market plans.
Functie
- Responsible for the development and execution of the commercial strategies to achieve ambitious growth for EMEA, as well as opportunities for global growth.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing commercial team of 5 FTE to deliver exceptional results
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market share across key accounts and regions
- Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring customer needs and insights drive decision-making
- Monitor sales performance, trends and competitor activity, and create forecasts to steer the business towards sustainable growth
- Working closely with Product management, Marketing and Application to align commercial strategies and collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure reliable product availability and excellent customer-oriented cross-functional processes.
- Reports to the EVP, BioProducts Division.
Profiel
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in (Food) Business, Food Science or a related field
- Experienced in B2B sales within the food ingredient industry, with a proven track record in developing growth strategies, baking industy experience preferred
- Strong team leader with the ability to work effectively in a matrix organisation and lead cross-functional initiatives
- Living within traveling distance of Nieuwkuijk (NB), with flexibility to travel across Europe
- Fluent in English; Dutch and additional European languages are a plus
- Personal characteristics: Strategic thinking, bridge-builder, commercial insight, customer-centric mindset, strong influencing skills, negotiator, comfortable in complex and dynamic environment, excellent stakeholder management.
