To strengthen their Product Management team, we are looking for a passionate and forward-thinking Product Manager to shape the future of Zeelandia’s Release Agents category. This is a unique opportunity for a commercially-minded professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, innovation and cross-functional collaboration. In this global role, you’ll work closely with R&D, marketing, sales and operations teams across local markets to help bakers around the world perform at their best.
Functie
- Responsible for the strategy for the Release Agents category, including portfolio development, positioning, marketing plans, and NPD roadmap
- Lead category management efforts by developing dashboards and tools to analyze product performance, identify growth opportunities, manage the lifecycle, reduce complexity, and mitigate risks.
- Translate customer and market insights into compelling value propositions and targeted messaging for key segments
- Guide and support local operating companies in strategic product decisions, assortment optimization, marketing activation, and new product introductions
- Collaborate with R&D on innovation plans and support the development and go-to-market execution of new products
- Connect with procurement and operations to secure sourcing, ensure product availability, and address supply chain risks
- Work closely with communication and commercial teams to align messaging and marketing content across regions; report to the Category Manager Bread.
Profiel
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Food Technology or a related field
- Relevant experience in B2B product marketing or category management, preferably in the food or ingredients industry
- Skilled in portfolio and lifecycle management, positioning, and value proposition development
- Experience working in international organizations and engaging with cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset; comfortable with tools like Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint
- Proactive and strategic thinker, with strong communication and project management skills
- Able to work independently in a decentralized structure and connect easily with international teams; willing to travel within Europe (~10%)
- Excellent English required; Dutch is a plus
- Character traits: hands-on, entrepreneurial, collaborative, and customer-focused.
