Royal Aware is a growing force in premium dairy ingredients. As Sales Manager, you’ll drive commercial expansion throughout Southeast Asia and Oceania. This entrepreneurial role offers autonomy to develop emerging markets, manage key accounts, and establish the company's competitive footprint in one of the world's most dynamic regions.
What are you going to do?
The company operates 26 production sites worldwide, with approximately 10 factories supplying the APAC markets. In this role, you are responsible for selling products from multiple factories across a portfolio of countries. The core of the role is to continuously identify the best product–market combinations combined with the most suitable distribution channels. You take ownership of commercial development across the region, driving revenue growth for cheese, UHT cream, milk powder and butter. The products are sold in retail, foodservice and manufacturing – the market composition varies a lot from market to market.
This requires a proactive and market-driven approach. You actively analyze market developments, spot commercial opportunities, and adjust priorities accordingly. Demand and margins can shift between regions, products, and categories.
You build and nurture relationships with distributors and key accounts, identify market opportunities, and execute tailored sales strategies that establish Royal-Aware as the preferred supplier in your territory. You will work closely with the Sales Director, who primarily focuses on China, Korea, and Japan.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies targeting growth markets including Australia, New-Zealand, India, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Hongkong (final selection of markets in scope can be aligned based on the candidate’s experience/preference).
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new distributors and direct accounts across Southeast Asia and Oceania
- Travel extensively throughout the region to support distributor networks and attend client meetings
- Collaborate with headquarters on supply chain planning, product validation processes, product development and marketing efforts
- Report on market trends, sales performance, and pipeline development through regular updates

Job requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, in dairy, food ingredients, or related sectors
- Established network and relationships across South-East Asian and/or Oceanian markets
- Fluent English; proficiency in regional languages is advantageous
- Proven track record in distributor/KA management and account development
- Experience in market analysis and sales strategy development
- Comfortable with frequent regional travel and independent territory management
